Overview

I am delighted to be working exclusively with this well regarded organisation in Ilkley, who is keen to appoint an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a small friendly finance team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Full purchase ledger processing
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Dealing with supplier invoice and payment queries
  • Reconciliation of supplier account statements
  • Preparation of supplier and bank payments
  • Managing month end deadlines
  • Process journal postings
  • Assist colleagues in other areas of finance when required
  • Assist with monthly management accounts production.

Role will ideally suit a candidate with purchase ledger or finance experience with good understanding of double entry skills. You will have strong Excel and excellent communication skills. There is the opportunity for future progression for the right candidate.
