Overview
We are delighted to be supporting our client, a well-established firm of chartered accountants with a strong client base across Yorkshire, to hire a confident and experienced Payroller to join their friendly Leeds-based team. The role will include:
- Taking full responsibility for the client payroll including weekly, 4 weekly and monthly payrolls
- Managing a range of client payroll processes consisting of weekly and monthly payrolls, plus RTI filings
- Processing of pensions and dealing with any pension regulator queries
- PAYE scheme set-ups
- Dealing with HMRC queries
- Liaising with clients, dealing effectively and efficiently with any queries, building strong working relationships
- Attending client sites on occasion to carry out payroll processing.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
- An experienced payroll professional, ideally with a practice or bureau payroll background, but other backgrounds will be considered
- Fully up to date in payroll legislation knowledge
- A confident, proactive and helpful team player
- IT confident, taking responsibility for the payroll system and future system changes & developments
- An excellent communicator and relationship-builder, proud of your levels of client care
- Accurate and organised with a high level of attention to detail.
