Overview
We are delighted to be assisting our growing client in finding an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the team based in East Leeds. The role is part-time offering 24 hours per week are there is flexibility in agreeing the hours which work best for you. The salary is £25-26K full-time equivalent, and your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Finance Manager
- Purchase invoice processing
- Processing expenses
- Credit card reconciliations (chasing receipts and posting)
- Maintaining the company purchase and sales ledgers
- Raising and sending customer invoices
- Credit control
- Reconciling accounts to statements
- Liaising with Stores and Procurement regarding delivery receipts and queries
- Producing weekly draft payment runs for management approval
- Dealing with queries from clients and suppliers
- Assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
You will have:
- Experience as an Accounts Assistant within a busy and varied role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for accuracy
- Good organisation skills with a proactive and positive approach
- Excellent team skills, happy to cover colleagues as required
- IT confidence, comfortable using a range of software packages and proficient in Excel.
