Overview
Our client is embarking on an ambitious period of expansion and process improvement. We are searching for someone who is able to take responsibility for the production of financial results reporting for network and provide insightful analysis to support the team in improving profitability and sales growth.
The Role:
- Identify business performance improvements and assist the Managing Director in delivering change to realise them.
- Improve financial performance of the function through analysis and insight.
- Develop forecasting and scenario planning process to help identify future opportunities.
- Interrogate key metrics to improve business performance through comparative tools.
- Provision of accurate and informative statements
- Ensure the balance sheet reconciliation is completed every period
- Understand and monitor the drivers of profitability
- Trending analysis across the business to ensure opportunities are maximised
- Drive performance in their business by providing good quality financial analysis
- Support for tenders operationally and ensure a robust costing model
- Ensure that all revenue streams such as rebates are maximised
- Take part in and lead initiatives to improve the financial process
The Person:
- Proven record of business performance improvement through partnering of business leaders
- Understanding of the core financial processes of sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit control
- The ability to work to monthly deadline
