Overview
We are delighted to be assisting our growing client to appoint a Finance Business Partner to their team based in Leeds. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role will include:
- Producing monthly management accounts
- Variance analysis
- Identifying risks and opportunities
- Preparation and review of accounts and budgets
- Quarterly forecasting
- Building strong working relationships with site managers
- Assisting site managers in managing and delivering financial efficiencies
- Pricing requests for new and existing business
- Reviewing profits against original pricing assumptions
- Making recommendations for improvements
- Implementing KPIs to ensure cost efficiencies across sites
- Managing overhead costs
- Accurate accounting and recording of income
- Reviewing contracts
- Accruals and prepayments management
- Posting of bank payments and journals
- Audit support
- Modelling of key assumptions and trends
- People management, carrying out review meetings, developing and supporting others.
The successful candidate:
- CIMA/ACCA Qualified
- Problem-solver, strong financial and analytical modelling skills
- IT confident with strong MS Excel
- Able to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines
- Keen attention to detail
- An excellent communicator and collaborator with strong presentation skills
- Able to relay complicated financial information to non-finance colleagues
- Self-motivated with drive and dedication
- Able to deal with multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure
- Positive team-player
