Overview
We are excited to be supporting our dynamic client to find an experienced Commercial Accountant to join their team based in Leeds. You will already be an experienced finance professional working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and you will have significant product costing experience.
The Role:
- Supporting the Head of Finance with business-wide reviews and forecasts
- Driving weekly/monthly commercial data, reporting and analysis
- Developing product costing insight, including scenario/planning/performance
- Business partnering with the Operations department
- Proactively reviewing and analysing stock
- Enhancing and developing IT tools and systems
- Being the Finance team’s IT system superuser
- Assisting with the month-end process
- Participating in month-end and year-end audit activity.
The Candidate:
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA Part Qualified or Fully Qualified
- Commercial Accountant, Finance Business Partner, or Finance/Business Analyst
- Working within a manufacturing organisation with product costing experience
- Ambitious, driven and full of initiative
- An effective problem-solver
- A finance professional who embraces change
- A strong IT user, able to automate data
- An advanced Excel modeller (usage and development).
